Nobody Sees You Until You’re Seen

Be Seen. Start Small.

Opportunities don’t go to the smartest people.

They don’t go to the hardest workers either.

They go to the people who are visible.

If nobody knows you exist, it doesn’t matter how good you are.

Lately, I’ve been exploring new pursuits—mostly around creating more content.

And one thing I’ve noticed, both from experience and from watching others, is this:

Opportunities come to those who are out there.

That’s why I’m leaning into creating more visual content—actually putting my face out there.

TikTok feels like the platform I want to experiment with next, and maybe even YouTube down the line.

But this isn’t just about me. It’s a reminder for you too.

If there’s something you’ve been wanting to do—launch a project, share your ideas, build your brand—you don’t have to wait until everything is perfect.

Start small, but start.

For me, it began with writing—first on X, then with this newsletter. Now I’m ready to explore video.

Your version might look different, but the principle is the same: pick a platform, commit, and put yourself out there.

The truth is, you can’t be discovered if you’re hidden.

You don’t get opportunities by staying quiet.

You get them by showing up, being consistent, and being seen.

So here’s my nudge for you this week: whatever it is you’ve been sitting on, take one step toward making it visible.

Share it.

Publish it.

Put it out there.

You don’t get rewarded for being great in silence. You get rewarded for being seen.

With you always,
Uthman
